CLIMAX | Safety Helmet CADI | EN 12492 | Red

The CADI safety helmet by Climax is designed for work at height and suits anyone who needs dependable head protection on scaffolding, masts, or during rope access work. At just 320 g, it barely registers on the head, which makes a real difference during long shifts working overhead.

The shell is made from ABS with high-quality UV stabilisation, so it holds up well under constant sun exposure outdoors without becoming brittle over time. The inner cradle, made from high-quality polystyrene, is padded for comfortable wear even over extended periods. An adjustable headband with a ratchet dial lets you fine-tune the fit to your head size: the headband covers 54 to 61 cm, while the universal size range spans 57 to 68 cm. Ventilation holes add airflow and help prevent heat build-up under the shell.

The helmet meets EN 12492, the standard specifically written for mountaineering and height-work helmets, covering shock absorption and stability under lateral load – both critical when working at height with a risk of falling. The 4-point textile chin strap keeps the helmet firmly in place during movement, wind, or a fall. The CADI has also been tested for use between -30°C and +50°C, making it suitable for outdoor work in all seasons.

This makes it a strong choice for scaffolders, rope access technicians, arborists, and anyone else whose job combines fall protection with the need for reliable head protection at height.
