CLIMAX | Safety Helmet CADI | EN 12492 | Blue

The CLIMAX CADI safety helmet is built for work at height and suits anyone who needs reliable head protection while climbing, belaying, or working on ropes. Weighing just 320 g, it stays comfortably light despite its sturdy build, making it suitable for all-day wear without straining the neck.

The outer shell is made of ABS with high-quality UV stabilisation, keeping the helmet durable even under constant outdoor sun exposure. Inside, high-quality polystyrene provides impact absorption, complemented by a padded lining that noticeably improves wearing comfort during extended use. The headband adjusts smoothly via a ratchet wheel to fit different head shapes, while ventilation holes allow air to circulate and prevent heat build-up under the shell. The 4-point textile chin strap keeps the helmet firmly in place even during movement.

The helmet meets EN 12492, the standard for mountaineering helmets, which specifically addresses protection against falling objects as well as lateral impacts and penetration – an important distinction from standard construction helmets, since climbing and belaying can involve side-on loads as well. The CADI has also been tested for use in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +50°C, making it dependable for high-altitude work as well as summer conditions on site.

With a head circumference adjustment from 57 cm to 68 cm and a headband size of 54 cm to 61 cm, the CADI covers a wide universal size range, making it a practical choice for industrial climbers, height workers, mountain guides, and anyone whose job requires protection while working at height.
