The C/52 fire hose to DIN 14811 is built for professional water conveyance where high pressures and tough daily handling are the norm, whether on the fire ground, on construction sites or in industrial applications. It comes complete with Storz quick-release couplings and is available in lengths of 15, 20 or 30 metres, making it easy to choose the right length for the job at hand.
The outer layer is made from high-tenacity polyester yarn, circular woven in twill weave with a triple-twisted warp. This construction gives the hose increased abrasion resistance, which pays off when it is dragged across gravel, asphalt or sharp-edged surfaces without wearing through quickly. Inside, a lining of high-quality EPDM rubber provides the sealing performance and durability needed for demanding conveyance duty. An operating temperature range of –20 to +60 °C means the hose can be used just as reliably in winter call-outs as in summer heat.
With a working pressure of 16 bar and a burst pressure of 60 bar, the hose offers solid safety margins for everyday water conveyance, in line with what DIN 14811 requires of fire hoses. The white finish also improves visibility on site and at the scene of operations.
