The 2137LH antistatic bib and brace trousers from the Mauser product line are built for working environments where electrostatic charge poses a risk. The fabric, a blend of 65% polyester, 34% cotton and 1% antistatic fibres at 240 g/m², combines the durability of polyester with the comfortable feel of cotton. Side knitted gussets along with knitted panels at the waistband and calf area allow freedom of movement, while the stretch braces with plug-in buckles make for quick, individual adjustment. Reinforced knees with an additional hook-and-loop knee pocket protect the areas under the most strain when kneeling and add to the garment's lifespan.
The antistatic treatment to EN 1149 helps dissipate electrostatic charge, lowering the risk of a hazardous discharge, which matters in areas with flammable substances or sensitive electronics nearby. As Category II PPE, the trousers are certified and marked accordingly, and the norm pictogram patch makes the protective function easy to spot at a glance.
