The 4PROTECT® UV-Schutz-Poloshirt MADISON is designed for anyone who spends much of their working day outdoors and needs reliable protection from strong sun exposure. It combines a classic polo shirt cut with proven UV protection, making it suitable both for professional use and for anyone who is simply outside a lot. It comes in black and in ten sizes ranging from 3XL to XXL, covering a wide range of body shapes and fit requirements.
The outer fabric is a blend of 60% recycled polyester and 40% TENCEL™ lyocell fibre, sourced from certified or controlled wood sources. In everyday wear this translates into a naturally soft, smooth fabric that feels pleasant against the skin and supports a naturally dry feel throughout the day. The knitted cuffs, made from 100% polyester, add a stable, shape-retaining finish at the sleeves.
The shirt has been tested to EN 13758-2, the standard covering protective properties of textiles against ultraviolet solar radiation. The confirmed UPF rating of 50+ stands for very high protection against UV rays, significantly reducing the radiation reaching the skin. It also meets the general requirements for protective clothing set out in EN ISO 13688:2013 + A1:2021 and falls under PPE category I, intended for simple, low-level risks.
This makes the MADISON well suited to work in construction and road construction, for public authorities and organisations, waste management, forestry, garden and agricultural work, landscaping, skilled trades, as well as transport, logistics and warehousing – wherever employees are exposed to the sun for extended periods.
