The AUSTIN UV-protection long-sleeve shirt by 4PROTECT® is designed for anyone who spends much of their working day outdoors and wants dependable sun protection built into their workwear. Available in black across ten sizes from 3XL to XXL, it suits a wide range of wearers and fits easily into existing workwear programmes.
The outer fabric combines recycled polyester with TENCEL™ lyocell fibres sourced from certified or controlled wood sources. In daily wear this translates into a soft, smooth handle that feels pleasant against the skin and helps maintain a naturally dry feel throughout the shift. Knitted cuffs made from 100% polyester round off the sleeves with a clean, durable finish that keeps its shape wear after wear.
Tested to EN 13758-2, the shirt achieves a UPF rating of 50+, giving effective protection against ultraviolet solar radiation for anyone exposed to direct sunlight over extended periods. As category I PPE and compliant with the base standard EN ISO 13688:2013 + A1:2021, it also meets general requirements for ergonomics and harmlessness in protective clothing.
This makes the AUSTIN a strong choice for outdoor-heavy trades such as construction and road construction, public authorities and organisations, waste management, forestry, garden and agricultural work, horticulture, skilled trades, as well as transport, logistics and warehousing.
