The AUSTIN UV-protection long-sleeve shirt from 4PROTECT® is designed for anyone spending long hours working outdoors who wants reliable protection from the sun. Available from size 3XL to XXL across ten sizes, it suits workers in construction, road building, forestry, gardening and agriculture, and other outdoor-based trades.
The outer fabric combines recycled polyester with TENCEL™ lyocell fibre, a material of botanical origin sourced from certified or controlled wood sources. In everyday wear this translates into a soft, smooth handle and a naturally dry feel against the skin, even during extended use. Knitted cuffs made from polyester round off the sleeves with a clean, durable finish.
Its protective performance is confirmed by EN 13758-2, the standard that assesses the UV protection properties of clothing against solar radiation. The AUSTIN achieves a UPF rating of 50+, meaning it offers very high protection against ultraviolet rays. It also meets the general requirements for protective clothing set out in EN ISO 13688 and falls under PPE category I.
This makes the AUSTIN a practical choice for anyone working outdoors on a daily basis, including staff in construction, public authorities and organisations, waste management, horticulture, skilled trades, transport, logistics and warehousing.
