The teXXor® ESD 1 knitted gloves are designed for tasks that demand fine motor skills alongside reliable protection against electrostatic build-up. They suit anyone working on delicate or intricate jobs who still needs a close, precise feel for the material in hand.
The seamless, single-thread knit construction combines nylon, carbon and elastic yarn, eliminating chafing seams and giving the glove a snug, comfortable fit. Its high elasticity keeps the fit close through every hand movement, which pays off in tasks requiring real dexterity. Polyurethane-coated fingertips add extra grip and make the glove touchscreen-compatible, so smartphones or tablets can be operated without taking the gloves off.
The carbon content in the fabric makes the glove electrostatic dissipative, lowering the risk of uncontrolled electrostatic discharge. This property, along with the essential requirements for protective gloves, is confirmed by EN 16350:2014 and EN ISO 21420:2020, while EN 388:2016+A1:2018 covers the mechanical protection against risks such as abrasion or cuts. As Category II PPE, the glove is intended for medium-level hazards.
This makes the ESD 1 a strong choice for electricians in the construction sector, as well as for roles in the energy industry, electronics manufacturing and telecommunications, wherever sensitive components or electronic systems need protection from electrostatic charge.
