The teXXor® VESUV welding glove is built for anyone who needs dependable hand protection during welding, deburring or other heavy-duty tasks. With a glove length of around 36 cm and an extra-long cuff, it provides added pulse protection that standard work gloves often lack. The 5-finger design keeps hand movement free and grip secure, which matters when tools or workpieces need to be handled with precision.
The glove is made from cowhide split/grain leather with a thickness of approximately 1.0-1.1 mm and is fully lined with cotton. This combination makes it tough enough to handle the daily wear and tear of welding work while the lining keeps it comfortable to wear over longer shifts. The leather thickness strikes a balance between durability and ease of movement, so the glove stays functional without feeling stiff.
VESUV meets EN 12477 for welding gloves, along with EN 388 for mechanical risks and EN 407 for heat and flame, backed by the general glove standard EN 420. In practical terms, this means the glove is heat-resistant and offers reliable protection against mechanical hazards such as cuts, abrasion or puncture, which are common risks in welding and metalwork. As Category II PPE, it is designed for tasks involving medium-level risk.
This makes the VESUV suitable for welding and deburring work as well as general heavy-duty tasks in trades, construction, the automotive industry and its supply chain, metalworking and mechanical engineering, locksmith and workshop environments, service stations, and glass manufacturing.
