Product information "teXXor Welder Gloves PITOU"
The teXXor® PITOU welding gloves are built for anyone who needs dependable hand protection during welding and deburring work or other heavy-duty tasks. The 5-finger design allows for freedom of movement and a secure grip, while the wing thumb adds extra flexibility when handling tools and materials. The extended cuff protects the wrist area from sparks and heat.
The gloves are made from carefully selected goatskin nappa leather with aramid thread stitching, at a material thickness of approximately 0.8-0.9 mm. This combination delivers a comfortable, supple feel without compromising on durability, staying flexible even after extended wear. Being unlined, they're particularly suited to tasks where a close, direct feel for the material matters.
The gloves meet EN 12477:2001+A1:2005, the standard for welding protective gloves, offering targeted protection against thermal and mechanical hazards typical of welding work. They also comply with EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical risks such as abrasion, cutting and puncture, and EN 407:2004 for heat and flame resistance. EN 420:2003+A1:2009 sets out the general requirements for protective gloves. As Category II PPE, they are designed for medium-level risks.
This makes the PITOU gloves well suited to welding and deburring work as well as general heavy-duty tasks across trades, construction, metalworking, mechanical engineering, locksmiths and workshops, automotive supply, petrol stations and vehicle service centres, and glass manufacturing.
