The teXXor® BATU TARA welding glove is built for anyone who needs dependable hand protection during welding and deburring work. The 5-finger design allows for good freedom of movement and a firm grip, while the extra-long cuff shields the wrist from sparks and heat. Available in size 10, it suits both professional trades and demanding tasks around the home workshop.
The glove is made from sturdy cowhide/split leather with a thickness of around 1.0 to 1.1 mm. This gives it real resistance to rough mechanical wear without making it feel stiff or heavy on the hand. The reinforced index finger holds up to the extra strain that comes from handling tools or a welding torch. Since the glove is unlined, it stays comfortable to wear even during extended work sessions.
On the protection side, the BATU TARA is tested against several relevant standards: EN 12477, the standard specifically for welding gloves, EN 388 for mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts and puncture, EN 407 for heat and flame protection, and EN 420, the general standard for gloves. This places it in PPE Category II, intended for tasks involving a higher level of risk.
Typical applications include welding and deburring work as well as other heavy-duty tasks across the building trade, automotive manufacturing and supply, metalworking and mechanical engineering, locksmiths and workshops, service stations and truck stops, and glass production.
