The teXXor® ARGON III is a welding glove with a 5-finger design that combines protection with freedom of movement. It suits anyone working in welding or heavy-duty manual trades who needs a secure grip and precise finger control without compromising on hand protection. The extra-long cuff adds further coverage, shielding the wrist area from sparks and heat.
The glove is made from carefully selected cowhide nappa leather with a thickness of 1.0 to 1.1 mm, while the cuff is crafted from durable cowhide split leather. This combination delivers a comfortable fit alongside strong resistance to mechanical wear. The seams are stitched with aramid thread, which holds up well under heat exposure and adds to the glove's overall durability. Being unlined, the glove also offers the direct, precise feel needed for detailed handwork.
The ARGON III meets EN 12477:2001+A1:2005 for welding gloves, EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical hazards such as cutting, abrasion and puncture, and EN 407:2004 for thermal risks including heat and flame exposure. It also complies with the general glove standard EN 420:2003+A1:2009. Classified under PSA category II, it provides reliable protection for everyday tasks involving moderate hazards.
