The teXXor® CALAIS is an S3S safety shoe designed for anyone who needs reliable footwear in wet and changeable working conditions, whether on a construction site, in a workshop, or out in the field. It comes in 13 sizes from 36 to 48, covering nearly every foot size found in trade and industrial settings.
The upper is made from grained cowhide leather that stays water-repellent for 60 minutes, keeping moisture out and feet dry even during prolonged contact with water indoors or outside. An breathable textile functional lining prevents the shoe from feeling stuffy despite its water-repellent properties. The dual-density PU/PU sole with PU toe bumper keeps the shoe light on the foot while still offering solid durability, and the full-length insole adds noticeable comfort over a long working day.
Toe protection comes from a metal-free composite cap, paired with a metal-free penetration-resistant midsole – together they guard against impact from falling objects and sharp objects underfoot, without setting off metal detectors. The CALAIS is certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 in safety class S3S FO, which on top of the standard protective features also includes enhanced slip resistance and fuel-resistant soling. It further meets the requirements of DGUV112-191 and falls under PPE category II.
This makes the CALAIS a strong choice for industry and skilled trades, and for any job that moves between indoor and outdoor environments – such as construction, warehouse logistics, or manufacturing, where wet conditions and mechanical hazards often go hand in hand.
