The teXXor® S1 GAP safety sandals are the right choice whenever foot protection is required but a fully enclosed safety shoe would simply be too hot for summer conditions or warm working environments. The hook-and-loop fastening makes them practical for everyday use, allowing quick on and off without compromising on safety.
The grained cowhide upper is sturdy and moulds well to the foot over time. Inside, the breathable textile functional lining keeps the sandal airy even during longer wear, reducing pressure points. The full-surface insole adds further comfort, while the two-density PU/PU sole delivers a light yet stable feel underfoot.
In terms of protection, the sandal meets EN ISO 20345:2022 in safety class S1 with the additional FO marking. The built-in steel toe cap guards the toes against impact and compression, and the SR-rated slip-resistant sole provides extra grip even on smoother floors. As category II PPE, it is designed for work environments with a moderate risk level.
This makes the GAP sandal well suited to dry areas in industry, warehousing and trades – anywhere foot protection is needed but work mainly takes place in dry, temperate conditions where ventilation at the foot makes a noticeable difference.
