The LITE SHIELD bump cap from Nitras is not a conventional hard hat but a lightweight bump cap designed for anyone who wants protection against minor knocks during their workday without giving up comfort or a good look. Thanks to its sporty design and fabric cover, it resembles a casual cap far more than typical safety headwear, making it a great fit wherever discreet head protection is called for.
The shell is made from durable ABS and paired with a navy blue cotton cover that can be removed and washed, which makes keeping it hygienic in daily use much easier. Inside, foam padding provides real wearing comfort, while four side vents allow constant air circulation and prevent heat from building up under the cap. The long 7 cm peak adds extra shade and shields the face from direct sunlight. At around 157 grams, the cap is impressively light and barely noticeable even after hours of wear. A Velcro closure allows the head circumference to be adjusted steplessly between 54 and 59 cm, ensuring a secure and personalised fit.
