This women's softshell jacket from Blaklader is built for the cold season and designed for women who spend their working day outdoors, whether on construction sites, in landscaping, behind the wheel or in cleaning roles. The detachable, adjustable hood, pre-shaped sleeves and extended back keep the jacket in place and out of the way during bending, reaching and everyday movement. The same style is also available as a men's version (4750), making it easy to outfit a whole team consistently.
The three-layer softshell fabric, made from polyester with a share of elastane, stretches in both directions, so the jacket stays comfortable through squats or overhead work. At 265 g/m² it stays light, while the quilted lining in the arms and the air-mesh lining through the body add warmth without causing overheating. Adjustable cuffs with velcro, a drawcord hem and the fleece chin guard at the zip let you fine-tune the fit to the weather and to your own build. Zippered front pockets, a chest pocket and an inside pocket give you enough room for tools, a phone or paperwork.
The jacket is certified to EN 342, the standard for protective clothing against cold, which it meets in combination with style 7118. In practice this means it keeps the cold out reliably in low temperatures while its breathability (Ret 20.0) helps prevent moisture building up during work. It is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, confirming the fabric has been tested for harmful substances. Reflective details on the shoulders and back improve visibility in low light without changing the jacket's dark, understated look.
