These multi-norm work trousers from Blaklader are designed specifically for women working in demanding and hazardous environments, such as electricians, road and construction workers, or service technicians. The regular fit is tailored to the female form without compromising on freedom of movement or functionality. Thoughtfully placed pockets, including a phone pocket, a pen pocket and a reinforced ruler pocket with a knife holder, turn these trousers into a practical everyday tool.
The fabric is inherently flame-resistant, meaning the protection is built into the fibre itself and does not wash out over time; it has been tested and approved for up to 50 wash cycles. The blend of modacrylic, cotton, FR polyamide, aramid and an antistatic fibre creates a tough ripstop fabric with high tear strength that holds up under harsh working conditions. Reinforcements made from CORDURA®, Kevlar® and Protal® at the knees add extra durability, while double fabric layers in the pockets extend the garment's service life. The surface is also water- and dirt-repellent, which makes everyday care noticeably easier.
The trousers cover a wide range of protection needs: EN ISO 11612 provides protection against heat and flames, EN ISO 20471 class 1 ensures high-visibility protection in traffic, EN 13034 offers limited protection against chemical splashes, and EN 1149-5 provides antistatic properties. EN ISO 11611 makes them suitable for welding work as well, and the ATPV and ELIM ratings confirm protection against electric arc flash. Flame-resistant reflective tape with double stitching keeps visibility reliable even in difficult conditions.
This makes the trousers a strong choice for women working in roles where several hazards overlap, such as electrical work, construction and industrial service, where heat, arc flash, chemical exposure and low visibility can all be present at once.
