These multi-norm work trousers for women are built for jobs where several hazards overlap at once, such as electrical work, welding or road and construction sites. The flame resistance is inherent to the fibre itself rather than a surface treatment, so the protection stays intact for the working life of the garment. Combined with the extra lining on the front, the trousers reach APC 2, the higher arc protection class.
The fabric blend of modacrylic, cotton, FR polyamide and aramid results in a material that feels soft and flexible despite its protective role. The ripstop weave adds extra resistance against tearing, while the knee reinforcement in CORDURA®, Kevlar® and Protal® is built to withstand the wear that comes with kneeling work over long periods. The surface is water- and dirt-repellent, and since the trousers are entirely metal-free and PFAS-free, they also suit environments where metal components would pose a risk.
The certifications cover a wide range of hazards: EN ISO 11612 protects against heat and flame, EN 61482-2 against the thermal effects of electric arcs, EN ISO 11611 is designed for welding work, EN 13034 guards against splashes of liquid chemicals, EN 1149 dissipates static electricity, and EN ISO 20471 class 2 provides high visibility on the road. EN 14404 confirms protection for kneeling work when paired with suitable knee pads. The fabric has also been tested for harmful substances under OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
This makes the trousers a fit for electricians, welders and construction professionals who need protection against more than one hazard on site. Practical pocket details, including reinforced knee pad pockets and a ruler pocket with a knife holder, keep essential tools within reach.
