Product information "Winter Jacket"

This Blaklader winter jacket is made for anyone who has to work outdoors through cold, wind and rain, whether on a construction site or as an electrician or roofer. It combines a warm quilted lining with windproof, waterproof fabric while staying genuinely breathable, so you don't overheat once you're moving. A detachable hood with mesh lining, adjustable cuffs with thumb loops and several well-placed pockets round it off as a practical companion for everyday work.

The outer fabric is coated polyester with a stretch component, waterproof up to 11,000 mm and fully windproof. The seams are taped to keep moisture out at the stitch lines, and mesh panels at the shoulder blades, underarms and collar provide ventilation exactly where you tend to sweat. In practice that means you stay dry without feeling wrapped up when you move, and the jacket can be washed at 40°C, though it must not be ironed, bleached, dry-cleaned or tumble dried.

The jacket is certified to EN 342, together with the matching winter trousers Art. 1810 - this standard covers protective clothing against cold and confirms the insulating effect of the quilted lining. It also meets EN 343 at class 4.1, the standard for protection against bad weather such as wind and rain. That makes it suitable for jobs where weather is a genuine work hazard, not just an inconvenience.

Reflective details on the front, back, hood and sleeves improve visibility in low light, which makes the jacket a solid choice for tradespeople working outdoors through short winter days. It's available in both men's and women's fits, with sizes ranging from XS to 4XL.
