The RT45 Hi-Vis Service Trousers are a traditionally cut workwear staple for anyone working in road and rail environments where high visibility matters. HiVisTex reflective stripes positioned above the knee keep the legs clearly visible in motion, a real safety advantage on busy roads or around railway tracks.
The poly-cotton fabric is built to handle demanding workdays: hard-wearing and finished with Texpel™ Stain Eco, a stain-repellent treatment that keeps dirt and water from soaking in. That means the trousers stay cleaner for longer and are easier to maintain day to day. Bar tacking at all major stress points keeps seams intact through constant bending, kneeling and reaching, while the elasticated back waistband ensures a secure, comfortable fit.
On the safety side, the trousers are certified to EN ISO 20471 after 50 wash cycles, so the hi-vis performance holds up even with regular washing. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating, blocking 98% of UV rays, a useful benefit for anyone spending long hours outdoors. In orange, the trousers additionally meet RIS 3279-TOM, a standard specific to the rail industry, making them a fitting choice for track work and rail maintenance.
With three pockets, including two side pockets and a set-in back pocket, there is enough storage for small tools and personal items. Available in orange and orange tall across nine sizes from 4XL to XXXL, these trousers suit road workers, rail maintenance crews and anyone else who needs both hi-vis protection and rugged durability on the job.
