The "PRO-Warnschutz" hi-vis shorts from Qualitex are short work trousers designed for anyone who needs reliable visibility even in warm weather. They suit workers in rail and road construction, street cleaning and waste management, as well as any service provider whose job depends on being clearly seen. The modern cut and extensive size range make them a solid foundation for a contemporary work outfit.
The shorts are made from an established polyester-cotton blend with a fabric weight of 245 g/m², which in daily wear feels light and comfortable yet holds up well to tough use. The waistband features six belt loops and side-set elastic for a flexible fit, while the fly with its YKK metal zip is built to last. The pocket layout is genuinely useful on site: alongside two front pockets and two rear pockets with hook-and-loop closure, there is a double fold-down ruler pocket with an attached tool pocket, plus a thigh pocket on the left leg with phone and tool compartments, a groin pocket and a smartphone pocket at the waistband.
Visibility comes from 3M 8912 reflective material, applied as 5 cm wide encircling stripes on both legs and as reflective piping on the front contrast panels and rear yoke. Because visibility standards require a minimum area of reflective fabric, the shorts are deliberately cut to knee length, so enough reflective surface remains despite the short design. The navy contrast panels on the side pocket openings, leg gusset, tool pocket, hammer loop and rear yoke give the shorts their modern look without compromising their protective function.
