The Bjarki hi-vis rain trousers are built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who needs to stay visible and dry at the same time. Whether on road construction sites, in civil engineering, outdoor logistics or winter road maintenance, these trousers keep the weather out without trapping heat and moisture inside.
The outer fabric is a rugged Oxford weave with a highly breathable PU coating that resists oil and dirt while standing up to abrasion and tearing. Welded seams keep water from getting in at the stitch lines. Comfort comes from three different lining fabrics used across different areas of the body, combined with an ergonomic cut for freedom of movement, a partly elastic waistband and adjustable, detachable braces. A reinforced hem with side zips and an internal elasticated snow guard keep things sealed even in rough conditions. Five pockets, including a dedicated ruler pocket, add practical storage for the working day.
The trousers meet EN ISO 20471 class 2, the standard for high-visibility clothing, meaning the fluorescent colour and reflective tape provide reliable visibility in traffic and on site. The weather protection standard EN 343, rated 3/4/X, confirms strong resistance to water penetration alongside high breathability, backed up by a water column of 10,000 mm and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h. The base standard EN ISO 13688 confirms the trousers meet the general requirements for protective clothing.
The Bjarki is well suited to workers in road and civil engineering, rail infrastructure and winter maintenance, and anywhere visibility and weather protection both matter. It is available in sizes S to 3XL.
