The WX3 Modaflame Knit FR Long Sleeve Polo Shirt is designed for industrial workers facing heat exposure, even when temperatures drop. With its three-button placket, ribbed collar and ribbed cuffs, it looks less like typical protective wear and more like a polo shirt people actually want to wear on shift after shift.
The high cotton content makes it comfortable to wear over long periods, while the inherent flame resistance is built into the fibre itself and does not diminish with washing. In practice, that means the protection stays intact for the working life of the garment without any extra treatment. Excellent colour fastness and shrinkage performance also help it hold up to demanding daily use.
The shirt protects against radiant, convective and contact heat and is CE-CAT III certified, the category used for PPE against serious, irreversible risks. It is also suitable for use in ATEX environments, where explosive atmospheres may be present. The UPF 40+ rated fabric blocks 98% of UV rays, a real benefit for anyone working outdoors. A heat-resistant, flame-retardant reflective tape adds visibility without compromising the garment's protective performance.
