The WX2 Eco Softshell Trousers are designed for anyone who works outdoors in all weather and needs freedom of movement to do it, from professional tradespeople to serious DIY enthusiasts. The slim-fit cut combined with stretch panels across key movement zones keeps the trousers close-fitting without restricting bending, kneeling or climbing.
The two-layer fabric is hard-wearing, breathable and windproof all at once, doing the job of several garments in one. The Texpel Splash Eco finish is PFAS-free and makes water bead straight off the surface rather than soaking in. Inside, a micro polar fleece with welded seams keeps things comfortable against the skin, while zipped mesh vents and rear-leg zip ventilation let excess heat escape quickly during hard physical work.
Ten pockets, including several tool pockets, a rule pocket and a hammer loop, make the trousers genuinely practical, keeping frequently used tools within easy reach. The knee-pad pockets take knee protectors inserted from underneath, protecting the knees during kneeling work such as on building sites or floor and tiling jobs. A side elastic waistband and an adjustable hem for regular to long leg lengths help maintain a good fit throughout the working day. Being non-magnetic and free of nickel and iron also makes these trousers suitable for work environments where that matters.
