The WX2 Eco Softshell Gilet is built for anyone working outdoors in changeable weather who still needs full freedom of movement in the arms. As a gilet, it delivers softshell protection across the torso while leaving the arms unrestricted, making it a practical choice for layering or for tasks that move between indoor and outdoor settings.
The two-layer stretch softshell fabric is backed with micro polar fleece for extra warmth and a soft feel against the skin, with welded seams on the fleece to keep cold air from creeping in through stitch holes. Strategically placed 4-way stretch panels sit exactly where the body bends and reaches, so the fabric moves with the wearer instead of pulling tight. The Texpel™ Splash Eco finish is PFAS-free and causes water to bead straight off the surface, offering water repellency without relying on controversial fluorochemicals — a genuine plus for anyone mindful of sustainable materials. The fabric itself is also hard-wearing, breathable and windproof.
Thoughtful details round out the design: five pockets, including a zipped chest pocket, two side pockets and a secure inner pocket, provide plenty of room for tools, a phone or paperwork. The chin guard at the zip adds comfort when worn fastened up to the collar, while the elasticated cuffs and adjustable hem cord seal out draughts. Made from recycled plastic bottles, the WX2 gilet combines everyday functionality with a lower environmental footprint, and comes in six colours and ten sizes from 4XL to XXXL.
