The Bollé® Viper (Vipci) is a rimless spectacle-style safety glass designed for anyone who needs dependable eye protection without sacrificing comfort during long shifts. Weighing only about 27 grams, it is built for wear over extended periods, whether on a construction site, in a workshop, or on the production floor.
Both the lens and frame are made from polycarbonate, with the frame also incorporating polyamide, finished in black and blue. The scratch-resistant coating keeps the lens clear even under frequent daily use, so it does not turn hazy after a short time. The temple arms are length-adjustable to fit different head shapes, and the included neck cord keeps the glasses securely in place whenever they are taken off between tasks.
The glasses meet the EN 166 standard and carry the FT marking, confirming protection against high-speed particles even at extreme temperatures ranging from -5°C to +55°C. In practical terms, this means the glasses hold up in situations where mechanical impact and temperature extremes occur together, such as grinding or cutting work carried out outdoors.
