The Blaklader XWARM long johns are a base layer built for people working outdoors in serious cold. Rated for temperatures between -20°C and -35°C, they are designed to be worn under other workwear on building sites, roofs or any exposed outdoor workplace in winter. The two-tone design with contrast red stitching gives them a look that goes beyond plain thermal underwear.
The long johns are made from 100% merino wool in an interlock knit weighing 260 g/m². Merino wool wicks moisture away from the body while insulating at the same time, keeping skin dry during exertion and preventing the body from cooling down. An elastic waistband ensures a secure fit, while cuffs at the leg ends stop cold air getting in from below and keep the fabric from riding up.
Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the material is tested for harmful substances, which matters for a garment worn directly against the skin.
