The Ultra Safe Light is an unvented safety glasses model designed for tasks where eyes need protection from liquid droplets, larger dust particles, molten metal and hot solids. Because the frame is fully enclosed rather than vented, it shields the eyes from splashes and particles reliably from all sides instead of just reducing their impact. A real practical benefit is that they fit over most prescription glasses, so wearers of corrective eyewear don't need a separate solution.
The frame is made from flexible PVC that moulds to the shape of the head, and the elasticated headband can be adjusted to fit. Together, this keeps the glasses secure and comfortable even over long shifts, without pressure points. The lenses carry both an anti-scratch and an anti-fog coating, and built-in UV protection helps guard against damage from harmful UV rays. Being 100% metal-free also makes them a sound choice wherever metal components near the head need to be avoided.
The protective performance is certified rather than just claimed: the anti-scratch coating is marked K on the lens, and the anti-fog treatment is marked N, both indicating tested, lasting performance rather than a basic factory coating. The glasses also carry certified protection against molten metal splashes, and are CE certified and UKCA marked.
This makes the Ultra Safe Light well suited to work near welding, in foundries or metal processing where molten metal splashes are a risk, as well as tasks involving dust or liquid splashes. Individual packaging also makes it a practical option for vending or point-of-sale display.
