This UV performance T-shirt from Blaklader is designed for anyone who spends long hours working outdoors and wants reliable protection without sacrificing freedom of movement. Whether on a construction site, a rooftop, in the garden or on the road as a driver, it offers a lightweight, functional base layer for physically demanding trades.
The knitted fabric is made from 100% polyester in a birdseye structure weighing 130 g/m². This texture promotes airflow and supports moisture transport, pulling sweat away from the skin quickly. In practice, that means a noticeably drier and more comfortable feel even during extended physical effort. Reinforced seams at the neck and shoulders add durability exactly where straps, backpacks or repeated movement put the most strain on the fabric.
The built-in UV protection, rated UPF 40+ under EN 13758-2, significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation during outdoor work. The shirt is explicitly not certified as high-visibility workwear, but it delivers solid textile sun protection instead. It is also certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and carries the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label, indicating fabric tested for harmful substances and produced with environmental responsibility in mind.
Thanks to its functional design, the T-shirt suits a wide range of trades, from bricklayers, roofers and installers to gardeners, flooring specialists, painters, mechanics and warehouse workers.
