The Gent twill work trousers are built for anyone spending long days outdoors or moving between changing job sites. Available in sizes 42 to 64, they offer a well-thought-out pocket layout, including two side pockets, a thigh pocket with pen slots and a dedicated ruler pocket, giving you plenty of room for tools and small items on the job.
The outer fabric, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton at roughly 245 g/m², strikes a balance between toughness and everyday comfort. Triple-stitched seams keep the trousers holding up under regular strain, while elastic panels in the waistband allow for freer movement. The pre-sewn hem can be extended by 3 cm without any need for sewing, making it easy to adjust the length to fit.
These trousers combine two practical protective features. The UPF 40+ rating, tested to EN 13758-2, noticeably cuts down UV exposure during outdoor work in the summer months. The knee-pad pockets with hook-and-loop fastening are certified to EN 14404:2004+A1:2010 Type 2, Performance Level 1, meaning that together with matching knee pads they shield the knees from pressure and strain during kneeling work.
This makes the Gent a solid choice for trades involving frequent kneeling and outdoor work, such as construction, landscaping and general craft professions.
