The Zulte twill bib-and-brace trousers from Feldtmann are built for anyone working outdoors under strong sun exposure. With a UV protection factor of UPF 40+, they offer real protection against UV radiation without compromising on the practicality expected from a bib-and-brace design. Available in sizes 42 to 64, they suit a wide range of wearers.
The outer fabric, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton at approximately 245 g/m², strikes a good balance between durability and everyday comfort. Triple-stitched seams reinforce the trousers at key stress points, standing up well to demanding site conditions, while elastic panels in the waistband allow freedom of movement. A wide, pre-hemmed leg can be extended by 3 cm without any sewing required, useful when a quick length adjustment is needed.
The knee-pad pockets close with hook-and-loop fasteners and are certified to EN 14404:2004+A1:2010 Type 2, performance level 1, when used together with the matching Art. 4303 Classic knee pads. In practice, this means genuine protection when working on your knees on hard or uneven surfaces. Seven pockets in total, including two rear pockets, a thigh pocket with pen slots and a dedicated ruler pocket, keep tools and small items close at hand.
The Zulte trousers suit tradespeople and skilled workers in construction and fit-out trades, landscaping and gardening, and any outdoor role that involves frequent kneeling.
