The Alberta thermal shirt is a warm overshirt for anyone working outdoors in cold conditions who still wants freedom of movement. With its blue and black checked pattern, it looks less like standard workwear and more like a rugged casual shirt, while still holding its own on the job. The attached, adjustable hood and front zip make it quick to put on or take off as the weather changes.
The outer fabric, a cotton-polyester blend, is woven as flannel and lined with a soft teddy fleece on the inside. That combination feels soft against the skin while keeping the wearer warm without adding bulk. The fleece panels in key areas and the polyester sleeves add durability, and the rounded hem along with the buttoned cuffs keep out draughts and help the shirt sit cleanly.
For everyday practicality, two patch chest pockets with buttoned flaps and two side hand-warmer pockets offer secure storage for tools, gloves or a phone.
