The Stronghand® Solingen cut-resistant glove is built for work with knives and sharp blades, the kind found in meat and fish processing, slaughterhouses, or behind the butcher's counter. It protects the hand not holding the tool and is designed specifically for food-related environments.
At its core is a puncture-resistant yet highly flexible stainless steel ring mesh. This construction lets the glove follow the shape of the hand while keeping fingers mobile for gripping and cutting tasks, rather than feeling rigid the way metal might suggest. A rust-free press-stud buckle allows stepless width adjustment, so the glove sits securely without pinching. It is designed for the left hand by default but can be adjusted to fit the right, making it usable either way.
Its protective performance is verified to EN 1082/1 and EN 1186. The first standard tests resistance to cuts from knives, addressing exactly the risk hands face during boning and filleting work. EN 1186 covers suitability for contact with food, confirming the glove is fit for use in kitchens, at the meat counter, or in food processing.
It is supplied as a single glove including a glove tensioner, available in sizes 8, 9, and 10. This makes it well suited to butcheries, fish processing plants, large-scale kitchens, and any workplace where sharp blades are used around food.
