The Stronghand® Aschau stab-resistant glove is built for anyone working with sharp blades during boning, cutting or trimming who needs dependable protection for the hand. Its 20 cm long cuff extends coverage well beyond the hand and onto the forearm, which matters for tasks involving sweeping cutting motions. The glove is food-safe, making it suitable for direct contact with unwrapped food products.
The glove's defining feature is its stainless steel ring mesh, which delivers serious protection while staying highly flexible, so the hand can still grip and guide a knife naturally. A rust-proof press-stud buckle allows stepless adjustment at the wrist and forearm, letting the fit be tailored to the individual and preventing slipping during work. It is designed for the left hand but can be adapted to the right hand thanks to the adjustable buckle, making it usable for both left- and right-handed workers on the same site.
The glove is tested to EN 1082/1 and EN 1186. EN 1082/1 assesses protection against cuts and stab injuries from knives, the kind of risk typical in meat and fish processing, while EN 1186 confirms suitability for contact with food. This makes the Aschau a strong fit for butcheries, slaughterhouses, fish processing operations and any workplace where sharp tools are used close to the hand. It is supplied as a single glove including a glove spreader, making it easy to order as a spare or for single-hand use.
