The Stronghand® Calcutta is a leather winter glove built for anyone who has to work outdoors when temperatures drop hard. It suits tradespeople, warehouse staff and construction workers who need reliable protection against cold and mechanical hazards without losing grip or freedom of movement.
The glove is made from natural-coloured full-grain cowhide, a tough material that holds its shape under demanding conditions and gradually moulds itself to the hand for a better fit over time. A full Molton lining keeps the inside warm and soft to the touch, while the rubberised cuff seals the wrist area and helps keep out cold air and snow. Together these features make for a glove that stays comfortable even during long shifts, rather than turning stiff or clammy.
The Calcutta is certified to EN 388 for mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts and puncture, and to EN 511 for cold protection. The manufacturer states cold protection down to -30°, which makes this glove a solid choice for cold storage work, winter road maintenance or any outdoor job where standard gloves simply give up.
