The Stronghand® V 53 is a classic welding glove for anyone who needs dependable hand protection against heat, sparks and mechanical strain on the job. With a cuff length of around 35 cm, it extends well beyond the wrist to shield the forearm from sparks and hot splashes as well.
The palm and back of the hand are made from sturdy full-grain cowhide, while the cuff is crafted from split leather. This combination gives the glove a construction that is both durable and flexible enough for extended wear without wearing through quickly. Welted seams reinforce the stress points, extending the glove's service life in demanding workshop conditions, and the built-in pulse guard shields the sensitive wrist area from impact and heat.
The glove is tested to EN 388, the standard covering mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts, tearing and puncture, and to DIN EN 12477 in design A, the dedicated standard for welding protection gloves. This makes the V 53 suitable for tasks that combine mechanical strain with heat and sparks, such as welding, grinding and general metalworking.
