The Stronghand® Lion is a rugged leather glove built for tasks that put real mechanical strain on the hands. It suits professional users as well as hands-on private customers looking for a hard-wearing all-rounder for the workshop, building site or garden.
The glove is made from soft top-grain cowhide around 1.3 mm thick, giving it a firm grip while still staying supple rather than stiff and board-like. Double stitching reinforces the areas that take the most strain, the rubberised cuff keeps dirt and small particles away from the wrist, and the lined palm makes the glove noticeably more comfortable over long shifts than a single-layer alternative.
The EN 388 standard confirms that the Lion offers basic protection against mechanical hazards such as abrasion, cuts, tearing and puncture. For jobs where hands regularly come into contact with rough surfaces, edges or tools, that provides a dependable baseline of protection.
