The Stronghand® Deltana is a seamless, fine-knit glove with a nitrile foam coating, built for tasks that demand both dexterity and a secure grip. Its 15-gauge liner creates a thin, close-fitting shape that barely gets in the way of fine motor work, and it doubles as a practical option for quick use on smartphones, tablets and touchscreens without having to take the glove off.
The liner is knitted from a polyamide and elastane blend, giving it a stretchy, ergonomic fit that moves with the hand instead of restricting it. The blue nitrile foam coating is kept deliberately thin so that tactile sensitivity is preserved, yet it still holds up well against everyday mechanical wear and resists oils and grease. Thanks to its foamed structure, the coating also stays breathable, which makes a noticeable difference during longer shifts. The glove can be washed at up to 60°C, making it suitable for repeated use in commercial settings.
The EN 388 and EN 407 standards confirm protection against mechanical risks and heat exposure; specifically, the Deltana meets Level 1 for contact heat under EN 407, offering protection during brief contact with warm surfaces. As the glove is also approved for direct contact with all types of food under Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, it can be used with confidence in kitchens, food processing or retail environments.
