The Stronghand® Clarington is a long nitrile safety glove designed for tasks where hands and forearms need combined protection against mechanical hazards, chemicals and contact heat. At around 30 cm in length, it extends well past the wrist, making it a solid choice for work involving liquids or hot surfaces where no exposed skin should be left unprotected.
The seamless fine-gauge knit (15 G) fits closely and keeps dexterity high despite the sturdy coating. A double nitrile coating - green nitrile on the outside, black nitrile foam on the inside - gives the glove strong mechanical resistance while maintaining a secure grip even in oily or greasy conditions. The nylon and elastane liner adds stretch and a comfortable fit, so the glove moves with the hand instead of getting in the way.
On the protection side, the Clarington covers several risk categories at once. It meets EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical hazards such as abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance. EN ISO 374-1 and EN ISO 374-5 confirm protection against chemicals and viruses, specifically against n-heptane, sodium hydroxide, sulphuric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid and ammonia solution at the stated concentrations. EN 407 adds Level 2 contact heat protection, making the glove suitable for work near warm surfaces as well.
This combination makes the Clarington a good fit wherever chemical resistance needs to go hand in hand with mechanical and thermal protection, for example in the chemical industry, cleaning and waste handling, or metalworking and maintenance work. The gloves are supplied in pairs in a polybag with euro-slot hanging, with a minimum order quantity of 72 pairs per case - well suited to regular commercial use.
