The Tomar stretch shorts are short work trousers built for anyone who needs freedom of movement and reliable protection during summer. The body-hugging fit sits close to the leg without restricting movement, while the part-elastic waistband flexes with you when bending, kneeling or climbing. Available in sizes 42 to 64, they cover a wide range of body types.
The outer fabric, made from 80% polyester and 20% cotton with mechanical two-way stretch, combines the shape retention of synthetic fibres with the comfortable feel of cotton. The fabric keeps its shape wash after wash, so it never looks worn out even after heavy daily use. At around 250 g/m², the material is sturdy enough for demanding work while staying light enough for warm weather. The YKK zip and reflective piping on the thigh pockets add extra durability and improve visibility in low light.
Certification to EN 13758-2 confirms a UV protection factor of UPF 40+, which in practical terms means the shorts block most of the UV radiation that would otherwise pass through ordinary clothing. Anyone working outdoors through the summer benefits from noticeably less strain on the skin from sun exposure.
With two side pockets, a thigh pocket with pen compartments, two rear pockets (one with a flap) and a dedicated ruler pocket, the shorts offer plenty of room for small tools and accessories. That makes them a practical choice for trades, construction and outdoor work during the warmer months.
