Product information "Standrohr, LM"
The standpipe LM is the standard fitting for drawing water from underground hydrants and is a core piece of equipment for fire departments, municipal works and water utilities. It is fitted onto the hydrant and provides two C outlets to which hoses can be connected.
Both outlets are equipped with low-pressure shut-off valves, allowing water flow to be opened and closed individually and under control at each outlet. The head of the standpipe rotates, so the outlets can be aligned to suit the hose layout regardless of the hydrant's position - a practical advantage in tight spaces or awkward access angles.
With a DN 80 connection size, the standpipe fits the common hydrant connection and integrates into existing firefighting water and municipal water supply networks. At 5.9 kg, it remains manageable on site despite its sturdy build.
