Product information "Standpipe, Light Metal"
The LM standpipe is the fitting of choice for drawing water from underground fire hydrants, widely used by fire departments, construction companies and municipal utilities. Built to DN 80, it connects to standard hydrants and reliably feeds water through to the connected hoses or equipment.
It features two B outlets, allowing two hose lines to be connected and supplied at the same time – useful whenever several points need water simultaneously. Each outlet is fitted with a low-pressure valve, so flow can be regulated individually and precisely at each connection without shutting down the whole supply. The swivel head lets the standpipe be positioned to suit tight spaces or awkward hydrant access, making it noticeably easier to handle on site.
Weighing 6.4 kg, the standpipe is solidly built for regular use on construction sites and in firefighting operations. Typical applications include construction sites drawing water from hydrants for building work, as well as fire service operations requiring a fast, reliable water supply on location.
