This spiral-profile socket bit is a specialized screw extractor designed for stuck or damaged 8 mm fasteners. It fits any ratchet or breaker bar with a 10 mm square drive (3/8" drive) and uses a helical flute that bites into the screw head to reliably grip even heavily corroded or rounded-off screws.
