This spiral-flute socket is a specialized extraction tool for removing broken or damaged screws where the drive recess is destroyed. It fits all standard quick-change and torque wrenches with 1/2" square drive and allows you to extract screws that no longer grip with slot, Phillips or hex socket. The spiral fluting cuts into the screw head as you turn it in, creating a secure hold even under load.
The tool is robustly made and operates just like a conventional socket on any compatible wrench. It saves you expensive repairs and frustration when dealing with seized or stripped fasteners in the workshop or during assembly work.
