This two-tone softshell vest from Blaklader is designed for anyone working outdoors or in unheated indoor spaces during cooler weather, including tradespeople, gardeners, drivers, installers and cleaning staff. The extended back keeps the lower back covered when bending or kneeling, while the adjustable hem lets you fine-tune the fit. The vest is available for both men and women, in six colour combinations and sizes from XS to 4XL.

It's made from a two-layer softshell fabric in 100% polyester weighing 255 g/m², built to block wind and repel water while staying highly breathable. In practice that means wind doesn't cut through, light rain beads off, and moisture doesn't build up inside while you're working. The stretch panels across the back flex with your movements instead of restricting them, and the fleece-lined collar feels soft against the neck rather than scratchy. The front zip also has a fleece chin guard, so it doesn't rub against your chin when pulled all the way up.

For everyday use, the inner pockets, pen pocket and zipped front pockets keep tools, phone or notes securely stowed. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning it's tested for harmful substances and safe to wear close to the skin. As a versatile transitional layer, this vest suits work days that shift between indoors and outdoors and across changing temperatures.
