The Hen softshell vest is a sleeveless mid-layer for anyone working outdoors in changeable weather who wants full freedom of movement in the arms. It works equally well as a standalone vest over a shirt or as an extra layer under a jacket, and the size range from XS to 4XL covers virtually every build.
The outer fabric is a 3-layer laminate with a high polyester content and a touch of elastane for stretch and ease of movement. A fleece lining on the inside makes the vest comfortable against the skin and adds extra warmth. The hem is adjustable for width and reinforced with sturdy Oxford fabric, so the vest holds up well to frequent wear and contact with rough surfaces. The zip features a chin guard at the top end to prevent pinching or chafing.
Thanks to the 3-layer laminate, the vest is windproof and waterproof while still letting moisture escape from the inside, so it stays comfortable even during physical work. A reflective piping on the front adds visibility in low light. For everyday practicality, the vest offers two side pockets, a chest pocket and two inner pockets, giving you easy access to tools, a phone or paperwork.
