This softshell jacket from Blaklader is built for anyone working outdoors in changeable weather who still needs full freedom of movement, from tradespeople and installers to gardeners, cleaners and warehouse staff. The stretch fabric and the fixed, adjustable hood make it a versatile piece of workwear for the site, the garden or life on the road. It's available for both men and women across a wide range of colours and sizes.

The 3-layer softshell fabric is made from 100% polyester and weighs 300 g/m², offering 17,000mm waterproofing and windproof protection while staying breathable. In practical terms, that means rain and wind stay out while moisture from the body can still escape, so the jacket never feels heavy or clammy to wear. The adjustable waist with drawcord and the Velcro cuffs let you fine-tune the fit to the weather and your movement, and the extended back keeps you covered when bending or reaching overhead. The front zip with a fleece chin guard also stops cold metal from rubbing against your skin.

Useful for daily work are the zipped chest pocket and the two zipped front pockets, which keep small items secure and within reach. Reflective print on the sleeves and chest improves visibility in low light, whether at dusk or on poorly lit sites. The fabric is also certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances, adding extra peace of mind for a garment worn close to the skin.
