The Blaklader X1500 softshell work trousers are built for tradespeople who work outdoors in changing weather and need freedom of movement they can rely on all day. Whether you're a bricklayer, tiler, plumber, sheet metal worker, mechanic, floor layer or concrete worker, these trousers are shaped around real jobsite demands, with multiple tool and leg pockets, an extra-wide ruler pocket with pen and knife holders, and a mesh phone pocket on the inside.
The three-layer softshell fabric, made from 100% polyester, is what sets the feel apart: it moves like a softshell yet holds off rain reliably thanks to a 17,000 mm water column, while also being windproof. A Ret value of 7.2 keeps the fabric breathable, so moisture from physical work gets carried away instead of building up. CORDURA® reinforcements at the tool pockets, rear pockets, ruler pocket, leg pockets, thighs, knees and lower leg cuffs protect the areas that take the most abuse from kneeling, crawling and constant tool use, so the trousers hold up under daily wear. Ergonomically shaped legs and double-stitched, non-welded crotch seams add to the freedom of movement.
Certification to EN 14404-3 applies together with matching knee pads (models 4027, 4032, 4057 and 4058) and confirms protection for the knees when working in a kneeling position, a key point for anyone spending long hours on floors or tiled surfaces. The fabric is also certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, indicating it has been tested for harmful substances.
Adjustable leg cuffs with a drawcord, a removable ID pocket, and several loops, including one with a D-ring, round off the X1500 as a well-thought-out piece of workwear for demanding jobsite conditions, where every detail is designed for practical use.
