These safety overshoes are designed for visitors and short site visits where regular footwear falls short of safety requirements. Rather than swapping into full safety boots, they slip directly over ordinary shoes and are held in place with a hook-and-loop strap, making them a practical option for customers, auditors, or tradespeople who only need to enter a protected area briefly.
The overshoes are made from rubber and feature a non-slip half sole that is abrasion-resistant and resistant to hydrocarbons, so they hold up well on oily or greasy floors without wearing through quickly. The toe cap itself is made from ultra-lightweight titanium-aluminium, keeping the overshoe noticeably light despite its protective function, rather than feeling as bulky as a full safety shoe.
The overshoe is tested to EN ISO 20345 SRC. The SRC marking indicates enhanced slip resistance, tested on both ceramic tile with detergent and steel floor with glycerine, so the overshoe provides extra grip on smooth as well as oily surfaces.
