The Gavia is a safety shoe designed for anyone working on sensitive flooring or in ESD-protected areas, such as electronics assembly, warehousing or production lines. Its sporty look with a blue outsole and fully metal-free construction also make it practical for security checks and for moving easily between indoor and outdoor areas.
The upper is made from durable textile material with an ergonomically shaped, padded collar that stays comfortable even during long shifts. The padded tongue and the eyelet closure with plastic loops make the shoe easy to fasten and allow it to adapt well to the shape of the foot. A removable, anatomically shaped High-Poly insole adds extra support and can be replaced when needed. The EVA/rubber outsole is notably lightweight while remaining slip-resistant, oil- and acid-resistant, and non-marking.
The Gavia meets EN ISO 20345:2011 in the S1P ESD SRA specification. In practical terms, a fibreglass toe cap protects the toes, an anti-penetration textile midsole guards against sharp objects underfoot, the ESD rating dissipates static electricity build-up, and the outsole is tested for slip resistance on ceramic tile with glycerine. With a width of 10.5 and sizes ranging from 36 to 48, the Gavia covers a wide range of foot shapes and is supplied in packs of 10 pairs, making it a practical choice for equipping whole teams.
